Good Hard-Working Point Said Foyle

Martin Foyle
Martin Foyle appeared pleased to take a point from Woking this afternoon. Here's part of his post-match interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"As you can see from the pitch it was very very lively," said the Hereford United manager.

"Very hard to get the ball down and play for both sides.

"I think there was more work ethic.

"A point was probably a fair result. They probably had the first twenty minutes, then we had chances before half-time and part of the second half.

Chris Bush
Foyle gave a debut to Chris Bush.

"He's lacking a little bit of fitness but he's got a long throw and a lovely left foot.

"I've got to keep looking at players until the end of the season."

A long throw from Bush led to Hereford's goal which was put in the net by Woking's Johnson.

"It was a good time to score a goal.

"But then we got caught a bit. Bush went in too tight, worried about Betsy and got down the side and it's a good ball in.

"Then they started to push us a bit and then last ten minutes we came strong again.

"We couldn't get that last pass, that last cross because of a lively pitch.

"Woking have been fantastic at home, we knew this was a tricky place to come.

"They are a good side."

Ryan Bowman
Ryan Bowman replaced Chris Sharp in the middle of the second half and looked much brighter today.

"I was trying to get a reaction and the reaction when he came on was very, very good.

"Overall a good hard-working performance and I was pleased with the lads."
