Looked Like A Sunday Morning Game said Foyle

The Sprinklers Were Used Both Before The Start And At Half-Time
In his post match interview Hereford United manager Martin Foyle admitted this afternoon's goal-less draw against Nuneaton wasn't very entertaining.

"We never gave the fans anything today," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It was pretty, both sides huffed and puffed and there was no quality.

"It looked like a Sunday morning game. People was just playing for the sake of it.

"Throughly disappointed but delighted with a clean sheet."

As ever recently Foyle made mention of the pitch.

"Stef (Stam) was booed for three clearances in the last five minutes when he was just trying to put his foot through the ball.

"He can't help it if hits his shin and goes into the crowd.

"People have to appreciate what we are up against.

"The surface is not good for football.

"We want to play football but we certainly didn't win the battle today.

"I thought our front four were out-bullied today."

Foyle made several chances to the team during the second-half including bringing off Sam Clucas.

"We thought the substitutions might have given us a spark but they didn't.

"I took Clucas off because I thought he wasn't giving us anything. He wasn't injuried. It was a chance for Chris Curruthers to get on."
