News Round-Up


Woking have extended the loan of striker Billy Knott to the end of the season. The Sunderland youngster has scored six times in 14 games for the Cards. Ebbsfleet added two further players ahead of yesterday's deadline, bringing in nomadic pair Ubay Luzardo and David Azin on short term deals. Spanish defender Luzardo and Armenian midfielder Azin have both been playing in the Swedish second tier with stays in their careers as diverse as Hong Kong and Ecuador.

Dunfermline are to make 11 players redundant as the first cost-cutting measure of the Administrator. Nine first teamers and two youth player are to be axed including captain Jordan McMillan. Lincoln have loaned defender Peter Gilbert to Dagenham until the end of the season. The 29 year old has made only one appearance since Gary Simpson took charge.

Dartford have signed Fulham keeper Csaba Somogyi on loan for the rest of the season. The 27 year old Hungarian has been an unused sub for the Cottagers' first team this season. Luton have allowed defender Wayne Thomas to join Rochdale on loan after just two games for them. The experienced full back was signed by Paul Buckle and sent off in only his second appearance.
