Results Round-Up


The Bulls remain seventh in the Conference table, 12 points short of the play-offs with 13 games remaining. Wrexham head the table on goal difference after a 1-1 draw with Alfreton allowed Kidderminster to move closer following their 3-2 home win over Ebbsfleet. Mansfield are third after beating luckless Telford 1-0, with Newport fourth after a 1-0 win at Hyde. Grimsby are down to fifth after their televised match last night with Macclesfield was postponed with their coach stuck in traffic. Forest Green hold sixth, four points short of the Mariners, after a goalless draw at Cambridge. Luton closed the gap on the play-offs to 13 points with a 1-0 win at Stockport that saw Stuart Fleetwood miss a penalty.

Down the bottom, Telford still hold up the pile with six points now the gap to safety. With Ebbsfleet just a point ahead, Gateshead drop to 22nd after losing 2-1 at 'home' to Braintree with just 327 at Hartlepool's ground. Nuneaton are up to 21st, with Barrow out of the bottom four after beating Tamworth 2-0. Lincoln's first match under Gary Simpson was a 1-1 draw at Woking, leaving them just two points clear of trouble. In the other game Southport drew 2-2 with Dartford.

At the foot of League Two, Plymouth moved off the bottom to 23rd after beating Barnet (21st) 2-1. Wimbledon are last after a 2-1 loss at Cheltenham, with the bottom two within three points of four other sides. Accrington's slide continues with a goalless draw at home to Torquay in front of just 1,197, with the Gulls picking up their first point in eight games since Martin Ling's illness.
