Forest Green manager Dave Hockaday was disappointed in the way his side let Hereford United score the only goal of last night's game at the New Lawn.
"I can't say we haven't played well or passed it around but at the end of the day you have got to win games," Hockaday told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"In and around their box even when we get open goals, we just can't put the ball in the net.
"It was 0-0, if we score then maybe we will win it but I can't see them scoring in a million years.
"We've got a throw in, we give it away, they throw the ball in the box, they get a corner, they score from the corner and it's a free chance. One of my centre halves has been done."
Hockaday spoke about Hereford.
"I've seen Hereford a few times, they haven't played well but they haven't needed to.
"They've taken their chance."
