Former Bulls loanee Andy Corbett is one of seven players released by Burton this afternoon following their play-off loss.
The Worcester-born 31 year old has been with the Brewers for nearly 10 years, having signed in November 2003, and has a testimonial match against Derby on Tuesday in recognition of his service to the club.
He spent just over a month with the Bulls, playing five times before being recalled to the Pirelli Stadium. However he played only twice more for the Brewers as a sub before his release.
Manager Gary Rowett has also released two more long serving players. Youth team graduate Aaron Webster leaves after 15 years and over 550 games in a variety of positions, while former captain John McGrath goes after six years.
Update: Corbett has chosen to retire from professional football.
Meanwhile, former Bulls loanee Darren Randolph is being linked with a move to Burnley. The Motherwell keeper, 25, debuted for the Republic of Ireland this season and is out of contract this summer after three years in Scotland.
Also north of the border, Lyle Taylor has been named Player of the Year in the Scottish Football League Division One. The Falkirk striker had already scooped his club's award.
In Welsh football, Jason Price scored twice for Prestatyn as they lifted the Welsh Cup in a 3-1 extra-time win over Bangor.
