Evans Signs For Eastleigh

Released Bulls midfielder Will Evans has signed for Conf South side Eastleigh.

Manager Richard Hill spoke of the signing: "I first came across Will when I was involved with Swindon. He was in the Under 16 squad and I’ve followed his development throughout. This is the third time I have tried to sign Will at Eastleigh. The first time was on loan from Hereford last November and the second was when he went to Newport on loan.

"Will is a good young versatile player who will be an integral part of the Eastleigh squad."

Evans, 21, made only three starts and three sub appearances in the 22 games he was eligible for at Newport. He will join fellow ex-Bulls Chris Todd, Dean Beckwith, and Glen Southam at the ambitious side.
