News Round-Up

Hyde striker Phil Jevons has signed for Stockport. The 33 year old scored 15 times in 35 games this season and was understood to have been offered a new deal by Hyde. Bridgnorth Town are the latest side to enter Administration. Members voted for the move at the club's AGM with mounting problems at the Midlands Football Alliance side, the same league where Westfields play.

Dartford have signed released Newport keeper Alan Julian on a one year deal. The 29 year old played only 11 times for the Exiles this term after spending most of his career with Stevenage and Gillingham. Ebbsfleet have announced that incoming owners KEH have paid the April and May wage bills at the club with their takeover yet to be completed. The club say the cash injection is non-refundable in the event of the deal collapsing.

Barnet have announced that Edgar Davids will remain as their head coach for the coming season. The Dutch legend had protracted talks over his future but finally committed to the Bees today. Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says the club budgeted to lose £500,000 this season. The Valiants exited Administration only six months ago.
