Preedy thanks staff and volunteers

Bulls Director Dave Preedy was delighted with how the move of Starlite Room catering equipment into the canteen facility in The New Market Development went today.

Cookers, freezers, prep tables and all the ancillary equipment was moved from the Edgar Street headquarters into the canteen by staff and volunteer helpers during a two-hour window.

On Monday the staff will return to prepare the new kitchen facility to provide breakfasts, lunches and snacks for the contractors staff from Tuesday morning for the duration of the building programme.

Around a hundred and fifty workers are currently employed in The Old Market site with many additions expected when specialist trades join as the work progresses.

Speaking after the operation, Preedy said "It's a great opportunity for The Football Club to cement its relationship with the project and we hope that even when the main building works are complete we can still provide nourishment for workers at our main facility at the ground".

"The staff and volunteers have turned up today and got the job done inside the time allowed.  The Football Club is extremely grateful to them for their efforts and it continues to show that with good support The Club will achieve its aims of producing off-field income to support Martin Foyle's efforts on the pitch."
