Chester have sold midfielder Antoni Sarcevic to Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee.
The England C man leaves after two successful seasons with the Cheshire side. Boss Neil Young claimed he was worthy of a six-figure fee, but a club statement says the fee will remain undisclosed at the request of the League Two side.
Chester say they will put additional money into their playing budget as a result of the sale. Fleetwood bought Kidderminster striker Jamille Matt in January for a reported £300,000 fee, warming the bench for half the games he was eligible for after an indifferent start to Football League life.
