Council To Discuss Merton Meadow Planning Application

Herefordshire Council is to discuss the Merton Meadow planning application next Wednesday according to the Hereford Journal.

The application has been submitted by the Bristol based Santuary Group who want to build 192 residential units including a sixty bedroom care home on the site, next to the Hereford United's football ground, which is currently used for car parking.

Peter Martin, Sanctuary’s Group Director for Development, recently commented on their plans.

"Communities are much more than just bricks and mortar and as a leading housing developer we are passionate about providing attractive environments in which people want to live and relax," he said.

"It’s an ethos we will be bringing to the new urban village we are developing in Hereford which will provide a mixture of quality, energy efficient homes and pleasant open public places.

"This is one of our most exciting projects and we look forward to working with the people of Hereford to make it happen."
