Martin Foyle is still looking to finalise his squad for the start of the Conference season which kicks-off in two weeks time.
He says he needs several more players to fill the squad and tomorrow's friendly against Torquay United (1pm) will give him a chance to look at six or seven trialists.
And, as he told BBC Hereford and Worcester, bringing in players is only part of the work.
"I've got to gell them," said Foyle.
"It's not as though we've got the same squad as last year and you come straight back into pre-season. You're kicking on.
"There's a lot, a lot of work to be done behind the scenes.
"We're more than capable of doing it, we can't panic bringing these last three of four in because we've got to get the right people into the club."
