Martin Foyle With Andy Porter In The Dug-Out This Afternoon |
"We had three games where you find your feet but today I wanted to raise the bar a little bit," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"A little bit of not agression but closing people down, and winning challenges.
"I thought it was a good game until around the 65th minute and then we probably tired a little bit."
However the Bulls failed to score.
"I think we've got to be a little bit more clinical. I think we got tied up in that final third.
"Where are we in terms of League football, I wouldn't say we are a million miles apart."
Foyle was probably pleased this was a friendly when Kingsley James was spoken to after a reckless challenge. He might have been carded in a league game.
"You can't do things like that.
"That's why they are false because we could have been down to ten men."
Foyle noted that the service to the strikers wasn't as good as in the game against Bristol Rovers.
"We are that Monday, delivering balls into the box, attacking it."
Torquay were given a penalty when Rhys Evans was adjudged to have brought down a Torquay player. However the goalkeeper kept it out.
"It's the refs pre-season as well, he's probably a little bit rusty as well!"
