News Round-Up


Nuneaton have signed winger Mark Bell on non-contract terms. The former Oxford City man can play on either flank. Former Bulls loanee Lewis Young has signed a new short term deal with Championship newcomers Yeovil. The 23 year old started just twice last season in an injury plagued campaign.

Macclesfield have signed former Bradford defender Steve Williams for the coming season. The 26 year old ended last season on loan at Barrow after falling out of favour in his final two years at Valley Parade. Kidderminster have signed striker Joe Lolley for the coming season after a trial. The 20 year old was part of the GB University side and had been playing for Midland Combination side Littleton.

Macclesfield have added full back Danny Andrew and midfielder Paul Turnbull for the coming season. Andrew left Cheltenham earlier in the summer, while Turnbull was at Northampton. Nuneaton defender Simon Forsdick has been ruled out for the season with cruciate knee ligament damage. The 30 year old was a regular for the Boro last term.

Salisbury have signed defender Luke Ruddick to a new deal for the coming season. The 23 year old missed last season through injury. Also resigning for the Whites is striker Dan Fitchett, who was trialled by Southend after a strong season last term in Conf South.
