Preview: Bulls vs Tamworth

The Bulls entertain Tamworth on Saturday in their second home match of the season.

The Bulls earned four points from the Lambs last season, following up a 2-2 draw at The Lamb with a 5-2 win at Edgar Street. Kingsley James and Rod McDonald both scored their first goals in the Edgar Street match, with Josh O'Keefe netting twice from the spot. Overall, the Lambs have won only one of eight meetings, with seven players being sent off in those games.

Bulls boss Martin Foyle has told Bulls Player that he took in a series of matches last week in a bid to identify some new signings to bolster his squad, with a couple of the 19 available struggling with knocks. Kingsley James' absence last weekend was the first change to the starting XI Foyle had made this term. All five goals for the Bulls so far this season have been scored by different people.

Tamworth boss Dale Belford is yet to make any changes to his starting XI this term, with veterans Darren Byfield and Andy Todd making cameo appearances from the bench in each match. Ex-Bull loanees Tony Capaldi and Richard Peniket are both expected to start the game, with one time Bulls trialist James Wren warming the bench instead of former Bulls stopper Jose Veiga.

Hereford United vs Tamworth, Edgar Street, Saturday 24th August, 3.00pm.
