Three Points But Two Injuries

Martin Foyle Talking To His Squad After The Game
Hereford United manager Martin Foyle felt the Bulls deserved their 1-0 win against Tamworth this afternoon but he may have to shuffle his pack for Monday's match at Alfreton after two players received knocks.

"I thought we were fantastic right from the first whistle to the last," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"On another day we probably could have scored two or three goals.

"A good hardworking performance today, brilliant.

"We rolled our sleeves up today, we showed them that they were in a fight.

"It was a hard one but I'm so pleased we got the three points that we deserved."

Tamworth went down to ten men when their captain was given a straight red for a head butt (or elbow?) on Josh O'Keefe.

"It looked like he had caught him, you can get sent off for anything these days.

"I think the linesman sent him off but he's gone and then I thought we struggled a little bit. They were taking chances to try and get back into the game.

"They caused a few problems and Rhys picked up a couple of balls that were dangling around our six yard box."

Foyle gave Pilkington a start in midfield.

"Not the best decision I've made because he's pulled his hamstring, so that's him and Kingsley as today we only had sixteen players.

"I'm a worried man and Michael Rankine is struggling with his knee.

"14 players, I'm going to have a sleepless night. Joel's injuried and Lloyd-Weston.

"This is the position we are in and I find it very hard to deal with."
