As expected former York City boss Gary Mills has been appointed manager of Gateshead.
He has signed a deal until the end of next season.
"I've always liked the way Gateshead play their football, which is very much my philosophy, and I'm excited and absolutely delighted to get the job," he said.
His first game in charge will be against Hereford United on Saturday.
