The name of Dennis Strudwick is probably getting cursed around Edgar Street when anyone glances at the current fixture list.
The Conference fixture compiler's summer efforts have left the Bulls with just one home match - a Tuesday night encounter with Chester - between now and December 7th's game with Nuneaton.
The situation mirrors last season when, between mid-October and mid-December, the Bulls had only one home Conference match and four away. That period was, at least, softened slightly by a favourable home draw in the FA Cup First Round.
The fixture list's, and cup draw's, unkindness means the Bulls are again reliant on off-field income to pay the bills, so it is important that fans visit the club where possible to swell the coffers.
There are many off-field events available at the club this week. As well as the Starlite Cafe being open through the week, the Starlite Rooms hosts a Charity Quiz on Wednesday while the club will also be showing Thursday's game in Addisons.
On Friday the latest Mod Nite is in the Starlite Rooms, with tickets available in advance or on the door, and on Saturday a Mexican band will provide entertainment for a youth team fundraiser.
