Some Players Have Let Me Down Said Foyle

Martin Foyle Talking To The Young Salisbury Manager Before Kick-off
In his post match interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester after the 4-1 defeat at Salisbury, Martin Foyle said that some players had let him down.

"There are some of the players who need to take a good look at themselves because some of them are not doing their jobs," said the Hereford United manager.

"They have let me down tonight.

"They just fell asleep from a corner and after the first goal goes in it gets nervy because of the position that we are in.

"The second goal was just a little ball in, spun off and it's in the back of the net, 2-0.

"Give credit to them second half, we came out, we had a little bit more fight but still not putting enough balls in the box from good areas.

"A couple of good corners have gone in and the little lad, Sinclair, has headed it out from six yards with no pressure on him.

"We look a big side but certainly at times we look frail and weak.

"We're conceeding poor goals.

"We broke away probably four or five times in the second half but we can't for some reason complete it.

"It's the quality that's letting us down.

"I can understand the supporters frustration because there's no one more frustrated than me and Andy Porter at the moment."

Foyle mentioned his small budget.

"I've brought in what I can with what money I've been given and at the moment it's not good enough."
