Grimsby have posted a £450,000 loss for last season, their latest accounts show.
The Mariners reached the FA Trophy final and the play-offs, but still recorded a substantial loss with operating costs increasing by nearly £1million on the previous season as the club invested heavily in the playing squad.
The club's balance sheet shows total debts of close to £3million, with the accounts noting that the Directors 'continue to seek the necessary funding to provide the company with financial security'.
