Chester chairman Tony Durkin has denied speculation linking Jimmy Harvey to a return to the club. Harvey was manager at Chester prior to their collapse, and has been rumoured to be taking charge of their youth section. Meanwhile manager Neil Young is in talks with his employers, Merseyrail, over his future. Young remains employed by the company but is on 'sabbatical' while he manages the Blues.
Grimsby have been granted a 12 month exclusivity period to explore the possibility of building a new stadium on land near the edge of town despite objections from local residents, who have submitted a 450-signature petition against the plan.
