Smith Acknowledges "Very Difficult Board Meeting"

Bulls Director Grenville Smith has told the Hereford Times that the club's board met after last week's home game with Chester.

Writing this week's View From Edgar Street, Smith stated that after Tuesday's game: "The following day we spent the entire afternoon going through what can only be described as a very difficult board meeting.

"The future is very bright at Edgar Street with some very exciting projects around the corner but we need help in getting around that corner to secure the future."

Smith talks in the piece (link) about the work the club is doing in the community, adding

"Then, on November 29, we have the sportsman’s dinner with John Hartson as the guest speaker. This should hopefully bring in a little much-needed cash to the club and a few tickets are still available."

Smith ends the piece by taking a swipe at the internet forums, noting:

"It peeves me to read the comments and negativity which is put out on the internet for all to read about the Chairman and his 'bunch of cronies' on the board of director and what we do or don’t do.

"I would love to know what legacy the people who make these quotes will leave in life because I know I shall be proud of mine."
