Gavin Williams has signed for Southern League One side Merthyr Town.
The 33 year old left Woking 10 days ago for family reasons, and has signed on for Merthyr with a debut likely on New Years Day. The Calor Gas League One South and West side are second in the division that is three tiers below the Conference.
Manager Garry Sheppard told the club's official site: "Gavin is going to be a great addition to the squad, and his quality is going to give us something extra. Obviously the players have done well to reach 2nd in the table, but we are always looking to improve.
"His signing shows our intent and it will be a massive boost for the whole club as we move into the New Year."
Meanwhile, former Bulls loanee Lyle Taylor is to return to Scotland. After leaving Falkirk in the summer for Sheff Utd, the striker has netted just twice for the Blades in 23 games.
He will join SPL side Partick Thistle on loan for the remainder of the season, with his debut likely to be in their New Years Day game at Celtic Park.
