Northampton have appointed Oxford manager Chris Wilder as their new boss. Oxford chairman Ian Lenagan announced that Wilder had quit the U's after their win on Saturday, leaving the club in a play-off spot, a claim later denied by Wilder until this morning's announcement that he had signed a three and a half year deal at the Cobblers. Former Torquay boss Alan Knill will be his assistant.

Luton fans are under investigation after Nuneaton lodged a claim that defender Theo Streete was racially abused during their game at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. Chester boss Steve Burr has invited former England international Francis Jeffers to train with the club. Burr wants a new striker with the Blues netting only nine goals in their last ten games.

Wrexham are hoping to complete the signing of Hednesford midfielder Elliott Durrell before Tuesday's game with Tamworth after having an offer accepted. The 24 year old who has netted 23 times in 34 games this term. Forest Green boss Adrian Pennock expects at least two more departures from his squad this week. Pennock has also added a new chief physio and a fitness coach to his backroom staff.

Woking are reported to have signed former Swedish u19 striker Samuel Aziz. The 22 year old has just finished the Swedish season with Limhamn Bunkeflo, scoring six times as they were relegated to the fourth tier.
