Nuneaton have put their entire first team squad up for sale, with chairman Ian Neale admitting the club needs a cash injection.
While he was cagey while speaking to the Nuneaton News about whether there was a crisis at the club, he acknowledged that an email had been circulated inviting offers for the permanent transfer of all the club's players.
Neale told the paper: “None of this is rocket science but a simple appraisal - if we do nothing it would not be in the best interests of the club and on the basis that we knew this may have happened we had put together a target list (of replacements).”
Neale also says the club retains ambitions to gain promotion, but acknowledges that a 'significant investor' would need to be found to achieve the aim.
