Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has said that despite the on-going financial crisis at Edgar Street the players continue to be paid every month.
"Players didn't get paid last year but this year they've been paid every month," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We are getting there but it is a long term plan.
"We've got ideas off the pitch and hopefully all the hard work will come to fruition for the board."
Meanwhile Foyle has also been quoted in this morning's Hereford Times about the return of Damon Lathrope to his parent club Torquay.
"It's a blow because he got us ticking," said Foyle. "But hopefully there will be someone else coming through the door."
