Salisbury In No Rush To Bolster Squad

Salisbury boss Mikey Harris says he is in no rush to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.

The part-timers are ninth in the table, two points short of the play-offs, with Harris happy with his options: “Nothing’s going on at the minute. It’s been very quiet as there’s been no movement inwards or outwards. We’ve some exciting, strong and attacking players coming back from injury and I’m confident in the group of players I have.”

Harris saw his side thumped 3-0 by Kidderminster in Andy Thorn's first game in charge, before a 1-0 win over a Dartford side that stretched their winless run to 16 games until their win at Kiddy last night. The Whites' home form is certainly better than that on their travels, with just one win on the road in seven Conference games stretching back to September.

The Wiltshire side were forced out of the Conference on financial grounds in the summer of 2010 despite finishing 12th, being forcibly demoted to the Southern League Premier division. Since then they have twice gained promotion via play-offs to return to the fifth tier and finally cleared their financial obligations in December.

With the Bulls having lost 4-1 in the televised reverse fixture, they will be looking for a measure of revenge on Saturday.
