We Should Have Been Four Up By Half-Time Said Hughes

Forest Green's latest addition to their squad Lee Hughes felt the Grumpers should have been 4-0 to the good by half-time last night in their game against Hereford United.

Hughes, who reportedly is on £3000 a week at the New Lawn was given some stick about his past by the Hereford travelling support.

"I really enjoyed the game," he said afterwards.

"Everyone has made me feel welcome and it seems a really nice club. 

"The way we started in the first 15 minutes we were really on top, and I thought we could have been three or four goals up. 

"But when it’s only 1-0 there is always a chance that the opponents can get one back and they did in the end.”
