HUISA chairman Keith Dodd has said that he feels Hereford United will still be here at the end of the season.
Interviewed this morning on BBC Hereford and Worcester, Dodd was asked about his reaction to MP Jesse Norman talking about winding up orders on H&W yesterday.
"It's nothing that has not happened before," said Dodd.
"Our local MP I think missed a great opportunity to help us.
"He could have put pressure on the council to get these leases signed as soon as possible which is delaying a £100k payment which will help.
"We've now bought back the leases but we haven't got them completed because the council have been sitting on them.
"It's time someone got off their backsides and did it so we can get the leases sorted out and get the money off these telecom companies at this time when we are short of money.
"Also I think he missed an opportunity to appeal to, Herefordshire is a very rich county, there are a lot of rich landowners, there are a lot of rich businessmen and I feel Jesse could appeal to those to contribute."
HUISA have raised £80K since Dodd have been chairman and he feels the directors have done their bit.
"I understand that three of them put more money into the club last week and I think it's time other people who have got a lot of money in this county coughed up to keep this football club alive."
Dodd was asked how long people will keep dipping into their pockets to keep it afloat.
"It's very difficult I'm sure.
"David Keyte went onto the pitch and said we will not go backrupt during my watch at the Cambridge game and I tend to believe him."
Finally Dodd was asked if he believed Hereford United will still be in business at the end of the season.
"Like Kidderminster Harriers and Worcester City we'll still be here."
