Connor Gets Wigan Academy Job

Former Bulls goalkeeper and coach Dan Connor is to take up a role with Wigan's Academy set up.

The popular Irishman will be responsible for coaching the Latics' keepers from u8's to u21's, and he told the Hereford Times: “I had a phonecall out of the blue from the human resources department at Wigan asking me if I could come up to see them about an opportunity at the club.

“It has been a difficult 12 months for me and I am thrilled – it’s a fantastic job. I want to thank Westfields and Shrewsbury Town.”

Connor, 33, has been working for Westfields and Shrewsbury since leaving the Bulls.
