O'Keefe Is Sold And The Bulls Can't Score

O'Keefe After His Last Game For The Bulls
Just four weeks ago Josh O'Keefe was sold to Kidderminster, no doubt partly to save some money, but since then the Bulls have suffered three defeats, failed to score and have had to pick out the ball from the back of the net twelve times.

And to cap that it was O'Keefe who scored Hereford's last goal, against his new club on the Tuesday evening before he was sold.

Going back through the season, for reasons not totally understood by some supporters when O'Keefe played the Bulls were more likely to pick up points. The midfielder missed a number of games after breaking his arm at Alfreton. He came off in the first half.

Indeed in the nineteen games he completed the Bulls took thirty points.

In the remaining thirteen games the Bulls have taken just nine points.

And there's more, the Bulls have scored just nine times when O'Keefe hasn't played all ninety minutes against twenty six times when he has played.

To sum that up that's 30 points and 26 goals in 19 games when he's played and just 9 points and 9 goals in 13 games when he's not played.

Yesterday at Dartford was one of those games when maybe O'Keefe might have got on the score sheet as there were quite a number of balls into the area.

The sale of O'Keefe wasn't for the transfer fee, it was to lower the wage bill. But it does look as though he's been missed perhaps more than some might have thought.
