Leadbitter Wants Fans To Trust The Players

Bulls full back Danny Leadbitter says he would play in goal if it helped the club win points.

Speaking to the Hereford Times, Leadbitter commented on his role as a winger in last week's loss to Wrexham: "Being pushed forward is not something I’m used to and I’m not sure whether I look miles out of place or not, but it’s something that the gaffer Martin Foyle has asked me to do and I will do anything for him.

"I will play goalkeeper if he wants me to play there.

"My pace did trouble the Wrexham defence and that is what I have got to do, that’s why the gaffer trusts me to play there. I’m not sure what will happen at Braintree but I’m happy to play anywhere for him."

Leadbitter wants the team and fans to stick together to earn points and keep the Bulls clear of the bottom four:

"The trips to Braintree and Grimsby are games that will suit us. People have complained about the pitch at Braintree but we have to face it, we are not the best footballing team – and that is not to give any discredit to anyone in that dressing room.

"We suit a direct style of play and if Braintree come out to fight us then that will play straight into our hands. Grimsby will be more of the same.

"All is definitely not lost yet – put your trust in the people in that changing room because we will turn it around."
