Director Colin Addison said he was 'absolutely delighted' with Hereford United staying in the Conference Premier League after victory over Aldershot.

"Absolutely delighted for the club, the chairman, the directors, the players, the supporters, everybody, " Addison told BN.

"And not forgetting Pete Beadle and Steve, they've been absolutely brilliant.

"A magnificent day.

"I've had a few of these in my career - last minutes ones.

"A wonderful day for Hereford United Football Club. Absolutely delighted.

"I think this will have a lovely pulling power for everybody now to be strong, stay together and take it from here."
