Nuneaton have released five players. New boss Brian Reid has allowed Jon Adams, Wes York, Greg Pearson, Phil Trainer and Emmitt Delfouneso to go. Four of the five were bit part players this term but forward York played in all but one of their Conference games and asked to leave last summer to seek opportunities higher up the football pyramid. Reid has offered five more new deals including top scorer Louis Moult.
Wrexham have released striker Rob Ogleby, the sixth departure so far. The 22 year old netted six times in 33 games this term. Veteran defender Stephen Wright has been invited back for pre-season training after being released earlier in the week. The 34 year old has been asked to prove his fitness. Grimsby and Gateshead drew 1-1 in their play-off match last night. Colin Larkin netted early for the Heed before Craig Disley equalised midway through the first half.
Aldershot boss Andy Scott has announced that striker Bradley Bubb is the first player to leave the Rec. Fellow forward Josh Scott is to be offered a new deal with manager Scott still waiting to find out his budget for next season. Conf South side Weston-Super-Mare say they will have the lowest budget in the division next season after a near 40% cut. Manager Craig Laird has quit, along with his assistant, saying that this season's budget was in the bottom three.
Torquay will return to the Conference without winger Billy Bodin. The out of contract ex-Swindon man has damaged knee ligaments and will miss at least nine months with manager Chris Hargreaves considering whether to keep the 22 year old on contract despite his absence.
