The Independent group on Herefordshire Council have called on the Council to show them the due diligence report on Hereford United, claiming that the Council did not actually do one as required.
Councillor Jim Knipe told the Hereford Times: “Due diligence was not carried prior to the leases being renegotiated - if it was can they let us have sight of the report,"
Leader of the Independents Bob Matthews is reported to have raised the issue in a meeting of group heads last week, with Knipe reported to have first raised the matter in April 2013.
