Mollie Phillips, the wife of Archie and mother of Stewart, has died aged 90.
While Archie and Stewart made the headlines, Mollie was quietly in the background. Stewart told the Hereford Times: “She was a strong person, and a lady of little fuss. There was lots of football in our house, but she didn’t come to games – she was there for all of us.”
On the few times Mollie would visit Edgar Street, it would usually be to collect Archie after games.
