Rob Purdie says he has been told nothing about the club's predicament.
Purdie told his Twitter followers that he had only received replies to his enquiries over the past few weeks, telling one fan "the club have never informed us about anything unless we pushed and probed! Total silence today".
Other staff members have told BN that they, too, have received no word today relying on social media for news on the club.
Meanwhile, Hereford Times reporter Ian Morgan has defended his paper's reporting over the past few weeks - telling followers he had asked questions repeatedly but not received any answers:
