Bowman Joins Torquay

Former Bulls striker Ryan Bowman has dropped back into the Conference, leaving York for Torquay on a free transfer with a two year deal.

The former Darlington man still had a year left on his deal, but leaves after netting just eight goals in 42 games for the Minstermen after 17 in the same number of games for the Bulls the year before.

The Bulls held a now worthless sell-on clause on Bowman.

Former Bulls player and physio Ian Rodgerson is to join Cheltenham's Academy as a physio. HUST member Dodge left the Bulls 15 months ago to concentrate on his private practice.

Meanwhile, former Bulls loanee Mark Marshall has joined Port Vale on a one year deal. The winger ended the season at Coventry after serving a two year drugs ban.

Elsewhere, the Eastleigh ex-Bulls contingent is back down to five. Glen Southam has left the club with immediate effect citing personal reasons, having been club captain last season.
