United in the Community are delighted to announce the appointment of Hereford United Fans Hero Rob Purdie as Youth Team manager for the 2014/15 Season.
Rob will combine his first managerial position at UITC with his part time playing career and his Personal Training Role at The Point4. UITC are thrilled to have Rob on board for the coming season, United in the Community Manager Steve Brotherwood will assist Purdie, Steve explained:
“We are delighted that we have managed to get Rob, his experiences and guidance will be essential in our Youth Team player’s development and education. Rob is now a Hereford man after deciding to relocate and considers himself a Hereford lad now. We are thrilled to give him is first opportunity in management."
Purdie will begin his life as a coach this morning where he will meet the current crop of talented U18 youngsters at United in the Community.
