Scrutiny Chairman Bowen Ignores Edgar Street Leases Investigation

Councillor Jim Kenyon has called out Herefordshire Council Scrutiny Committee chairman Councillor Bowen as to why he did not bring up the Bulls' lease situation at the committee meeting on Monday afternoon.

Taking to Twitter, Kenyon called Bowen's failure to bring up the matter 'broken promises' after promising him he would look into the lease situation and that 'I will keep up the fight Cllr Bowen won't get away with shoddy scrutiny'.

The Scrutiny Committee is not scheduled to sit again until September 1st.

Bulls News has asked Cllr Bowen for an explanation to the situation.
