One addition for Gravesend trip
Hereford United have an addition in their squad that will make the trip to Gravesend & Northfleet tomorrow, kick off 3pm.
The Bulls have captured the signing of Neil Gough on a short-term contract. The attacking midfielder was released by Leyton Orient last summer and will be assessed by Hereford boss Graham Turner before he decides whether to give him a full-time deal.
For the match, Gravesend and Northfleet manager Andy Ford is waiting on the fitness of Danny Lye, Justin Skinner, Steve McKimm, Paul Sturgess and Craig Wilkins. Defender Francis Duku is out until October
He said: "We won't make a final decision on their fitness until Saturday morning, but they are all struggling at the moment."
The Bulls miss striker John Grant through suspension and midfielder Ben Smith is out with a dislocated shoulder.
Of the opponents, Turner told the Evening News: "We know very little about Gravesend but we are in good form and we will probably be unchanged. It is a pleasing start to the season and if get a good result I think we can expect more than 2,000 to Monday's game."
With Hereford holding a top-three place, prices could be set to go up for Monday's match against Morecambe. A supporters' initiative agreed that they would pay more at the gate if the Bulls were successful and in the top three - a not too common feat in recent times as Turner admitted.
"It was the supporters' suggestion but I think it's only happened once because we haven't been at the top too much," said Turner.”
