Bulls get revenge on the Brewers
The Bulls defeated the Brewers 4-2 after extra time in the GLS Conference Cup this evening. Full report shortly.
Hereford United have announced their team for tonight's Cup-tie at Burton and as predicted by Bulls News there is one new face, Ashley Hildred from Grimsby, in the starting eleven which is as follows: Ben Scott, Ryan Green, Tony James, Tom Smith, Simon Travis, Danny Williams, Craig Stanley, Andy Williams, Danny Carey-Bertram, David Brown, Ashley Hildred.
On the bench: Jamie Pitman, Adam Stansfield, Craig Mawson, Mark Smith and John Trewick.
Ashley Hildred was recently released by cash-short Grimsby. A twenty-one year-old midfielder, he spent a spell on-loan at Northwich last month.
Meanwhile there are now reported to be 27, up from 18, Hereford United fans at Burton this evening. No-one appears to be certain where the last nine have turned up from.
Hereford United will be at home in the fourth round to either Northwich or Leigh RMI.
Meanwhile the Bulls have dropped to fifth place in the Conference table as a result of Halifax winning their game this evening 1-0 against Crawley. Halifax go above Hereford on goal average into third place with Accrington down to fourth.
