Conference Cup could cause fixture congestion
After last night's good result from Burton, there is now a little more interest in the Conference Cup especially as Hereford United have a reasonable chance of defeating the winners of the Northwich or Leigh game, to be played on January 25th, in the next round.
However the date of the fourth round game, provisionally scheduled for February 14th, in the Conference Cup is uncertain should Hereford United defeat Wrexham in the LDV game on January 25th as the area final of the LDV is a two-leg affair with the first game due to be played on February 14 and the return on March 7th.
Meanwhile should the Bulls reach round five they will meet either Accrington, York, Tamworth or Worcester. However Hereford United will have to travel for this game.
