Over-priced and filthy Edgar Street.

It needs to be asked whether families are welcome at Edgar Street after last night's ultra-high prices for children in the stands.

The charge of £11 for a concession to sit was totally unwarranted. Several families waiting in the queue to enter were dismayed to see prices had been risen for the LDV game. One told Bulls News that they simply couldn't afford to come to Edgar Street with children if kids were to be charged £11 and went home without seeing the match.

For a family of two adults and three children the cost last night was £59 to enter the family stand. It is understood that as the gate is shared after expenses, Hereford United must have agreed with Wrexham to charge this price. The two clubs should be ashamed of themselves.

On top of this once again the Meadow End toilets were filthy. The drains were blocked and by the end of the game the whole area was flooded.

The drains were also blocked last Saturday and it seems unlikely that anybody from the club had bothered to check these toilets. With food being served close-by, the situation probably breaks the law.

It is little wonder that families are put off coming to Edgar Strret if they have to endure rip-off prices and dirty conditions. A great shame when the football last night was so entertaining.
