Trewick happy with performance
John Trewick, the Hereford United coach who was named on the bench last night, told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he was pleased with the performance of his side against Burton Albion.
"There were a few changes. Graham Hyde was rested, Lee Mills was injured but basically all the available people have been out there. But it was a great opportunity for young Andy Williams to come on and have a game.
"I thought he got kicked around the place a little bit and manhandled quite a lot and probably didn't get enough protection from the referee but in the end he came through it manfully.
"I thought David Brown was absolutely outstanding alongside him up-front and there were other good performances as well."
Meanwhile Mark Smith, who came on for Tony James during the second-half last night, is a member of the Hereford United Youth Team.
