Hereford United entertain Accrington Stanley in a 3rd round Trophy replay at Edgar Street this evening at 7.45pm. The two clubs fought out a goal-less draw in their first attempt last Saturday at the Interlink Express Stadium.
The prize for winning the tie is £4,000 and a fourth round game at home against either Hyde United or Whitby Town. So with the prospect of a relatively easy tie if the Bulls go through this evening, Graham Turner may put out his strongest available team.
Whatever the managers' thoughts, Hereford United are expected to give new loan signing Joe Anyinsah his second start for the Bulls and Graham Hyde could start instead of Jamie Pitman. Other changes may include Mark Robinson returning instead of Tom Smith.
Rob Purdie, Andy Tretton and Tamika Mkandawire are still injured although Mkandawire is said to be in with a chance. His strength was missed last Saturday.
Accrington will have a full squad to choose from as Jonathon Smith has returned from suspension.
Meanwhile Rory Prendergast is still with Stanley despite rumours of a bid, since denied, from Bristol Rovers.
"Of course league football is attractive but hopefully I can do that with Accrington, it's obvious that is the ambition of everyone at the club and I would love to help make it happen. It is nice to know people are interested but I just want to get on with my job here," Prendergast told the Stanley Official Website.
