Players from Hereford United's giant killing team that knocked Newcastle United out of the FA Cup in 1972 will be holding a reunion in the city's Left Bank Restaurant on Saturday March 12 reports the Shropshire Star.
Ronnie Radford and Ricky George who scored the goals in Hereford's epic victory will be at the reunion along with central defender Nick McCloughin who will be flying in from the United States for the event.
Meanwhile tickets are available for the Hereford United Gala Sports Dinner which is to take place at the Three Counties Hotel on Thursday February 17th.
Described as "An Evening of Nostalgia and Comedy", the top guest for the evening is Duncan McKenzie, former top football star and TV pundit. There will also be a comedy spot with Pete Lucas.
