Brown leaves Bulls

According to a source close to Hereford United, David Brown's contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

He is understood to be in talks with Accrington Stanley.

LATER: The following comes from the Official Accrington Stanley Website:

John Coleman has signed 26 year old striker David Brown following his release from Hereford United earlier today (Tuesday). Brown started his career as a trainee at Manchester United and had spells at Hull City, Torquay and Chester City.

He then went to Telford where he scored 14 goals in 34 games before joining Hereford in June 2003, notching up 22 goals in under 50 starts.

Despite this David has recently been looking for a club closer to his Wigan home and has initially signed a deal until the end of the season.
