Bulls held by Lambs

Hereford United were unable to take advantage of ten-man Tamworth this evening. For the first thirty minutes the Bulls looked at sixs and sevens. And even after going 2-1 their play was ragged and disjointed. Mills and Stanley, in particular, didn't impress.

Danny Williams equalised after Bob Taylor had given Tamworth an early lead. Late in the first half ex Kidderminster player Adie Smith was dismissed from the field of play.

In the second half Tamika Mkandawire gave Hereford the lead, but his effort was cancelled out by a late Mark Cooper free kick which Mawson failed to deal with.

Simon Travis left the pitch early in the second half to be replaced by Ryan Green. Travis appeared to be suffering from a leg injury.

Around 400 Hereford fans were in attendance.

After the other games played this evening finished the Conference table puts Hereford up to seventh place.
