More has emerged over the departure of David Brown to Accrington Stanley.
The Hereford United striker left Edgar Street on Monday. However as Accrington appeared to act very quickly in securing his signature it seems that Brown knew he was leaving last week.
"Matters were brought to a head by a disagreement over David Brown's training schedule," commented Graham Turner to the Hereford Times.
Brown is returning to play closer to his home at Wigan. His third child was born recently.
"I enjoyed my 18 months at Hereford. I scored a lot of goals and last season was superb," said Brown but he admitted that being on the bench recently had caused problems for him.
"The last few months have been difficult. There was a disagreement and misunderstanding and it makes it more difficult when you are away from home."
Graham Turner also told the paper that speculation linking skipper Tony James with a move to Yeovil Town was misplaced.
"We have had no contact with Yeovil," he said. "Our priority is to get to the play-offs and so we would not release him at this time, anyway."
Meanwhile it has emerged that Simon Travis left the field of play last night at Tamworth with a cut toe. He is expected to be available for the Trophy game on Saturday.
